Spotlight on Jocelyn Proust

Spotlight has collaborated with Australian artist and designer Jocelyn Proust to produce an exclusive range of homewares and fabrics. Specialising in the world of pattern design. Jocelyn has been decorating all manner of surfaces including walls, paper, canvas, fabric and ceramics for some time, along with working more formally as a graphic designer. More recently she has been seduced by the limitless possibilities that pattern design provides. Jocelyn’s process usually begins with working in her sketchbook with pen or watercolour or cut paper. She then transforms that work digitally into patterns and designs. She favours a graphic, clean style of design and love bright, bold colour. Living on the north coast of New South Wales, Jocelyn is inspired daily by her beautiful surroundings.
