Shelley Craft is no stranger to big renovation projects. So when she and her husband Christian, a director and agent at Byron Bay Property Sales, bought this beautiful four-bedroom home in Byron Bay, they weren’t daunted by all the external timber that would soon need recoating. After trying a couple of samples, Shelley and Christian opted for one coat of Sikkens Cetol HLSe Light Oak 006 and two coats of Sikkens Cetol Deck to revamp their timber. Cetol Deck is mainly used and designed for deck and areas that are walked on, however it can be and has been used for vertical surfaces with great success as it is a premium finish designed to withstand the forces of nature and UV. “We are so thrilled with the finished product,” said Shelley.
