As readers of Sporteluxe, we trust you’re well acquainted with the benefits of collagen. It its simplest terms, collagen is the fibrous protein responsible for fighting off wrinkles and fine lines and keeping your skin looking and feeling firm, supple and plump (ie. what every woman wants forever). As the most abundant protein present in the human body, it’s also found in our hair and nails.
As we age, our body’s ability to produce collagen starts to decrease, and as a result, the skin starts to lose its elasticity, which is where collagen supplements come in handy to help restore these levels. Here, Teresa Cutter (better known as The Healthy Chef) shares with us her favourite anti-ageing breakfast recipes (including all the antioxidants) to ensure you’re getting you’re glow on from the inside out.

“I’ve swapped my morning coffee for collagen matcha lattes made with. This is because collagen is my key component for radiant, healthy skin. Research shows the wonderful benefits of collagen supplementation on skin properties, including hydration, elasticity, reduction of wrinkles, and visible signs of ageing. Combining this with matcha provides an extra dose of antioxidants to support healthy, glowing skin.”
