Geopathic stress is a natural phenomenon which affects certain places and can be damaging to our health. It relates to irregularities in the earth’s magnetic field, which can be aggravated by a variety of features. Geopathic stress can lead to a feeling of listlessness and tiredness for people working or sleeping in a geopathically stressed area. It does not cause any illness, but lowers the immune system and your ability to fight off viruses and bacterium while existing problems can also be exacerbated. We invite you to join us and learn about this fascinating topic… what it is, what it does, what the signs and symptoms are, and how you can deal with it if you are being affected.

What is Geopathic Stress?

It can be very hard for the well educated, pragmatic person to understand that they are disturbed vibrations comming up from the earth, which can be harmful to our health.

Earth Natural VibrationsWe have lived with these natural vibrations which rise up through the earth’s mantle for millions of years. When these vibrations encounter subterranean running water, certain mineral concentrations, fault lines and underground cavities, their natural vibrations become distorted and harmful to living organisms. In the case of running water, normally 100 to 300 ft. (30 to 90 metres) underground, an electromagnetic field is created in the opposite direction to its flow by friction which then increases these vibrations passing through by up to 30 times. The effect of these higher vibrations gives rise to the phenomenon of GEOPATHIC STRESS (The word ‘geopathic’ is derived from the Greek words, ‘Geo’ meaning ‘the Earth’, and ‘pathos’ meaning ‘disease’ or ‘suffering’, so literally ‘suffering of the Earth’). Geopathic stress, also known as negative energies or harmful earth rays, can cause discomfort and ill health to those living above them.

These energies and zones are perfectly natural, even essential in nature. All of us come into contact with them every day and they don’t pose any danger when we spend only brief or shorter periods of time in contact with them. The problem arises when we start spending extended periods of time within these zones as when we sleep or have a work desk and a chair within such a zone.

Geopatic stress does not directly cause illness or poor health, but it can weaken the body and especially severely compromises the immune system. It may be first noticed as disturbances in sleep patterns, restlessness and/or chronic lethargy and poor health. Without intervention this can eventually contribute to the development of more complex diseases or prolong your recovery from illness. Geopathic stress can also prevent your body properly absorbing vitamins, minerals, trace elements etc. from your food (and supplements) and often making you allergic to food, drinks and environmental pollution.

Dragon LinesThe chinese knew the harm Geopathic stress could cause over 4000 years ago and avoided building houses on stressful places – on what they called ‘dragon lines’. Often people could be punished if the building was on a ‘dragon line’. From a Neolithic (New Stone Age) village in Orkney, through many Bronze Age hut circles in Dartmoor, England, to American habitation sites of the Adena and Hopewell people and the homes of the Inca residents high in the Andes, South America, the inhabitants never built their homes over these life destructive high vibrations.
