Hospital offers 'instant' six-pack abs surgery and the results are horrifying

Craving chiseled abs but not arsed heading to the gym? A hospital in Thailand is offering a ‘painless’ surgery which gives you an “instant” six-pack.

A hospital in Bangkok is offering “instant” six-pack surgery for those who are too lazy to work out.

Masterpiece Hospital CEO and surgeon Raweewat “Sae” Maschamadol said that they receive between 20 and 30 people each year asking for six-pack surgery.

Due to the demand, the hospital now offers a procedure called abdominal etching which uses a new liposuction technique to create a six-pack appearance.

Speaking to Coconuts ThailandMaschamadol revealed that the abs are ‘etched’ out by removing fat around the abdomen area, which creates a more natural and long lasting appearance as opposed to implanting silicone.

“We don’t do implants because they don’t look good and don’t last long,” said Maschamadol.

The surgeon said that the vast majority of the people that elect for surgery are actually fitness fanatics that just can’t reach that “shredded” goal.

“In order to naturally get a six-pack, one needs to work out as well as get lean,” Raweewat said.

“Most of our clients come in with a lot of muscle, they just want to save themselves months of leaning down.”

The procedure costs THB120,000 (around €3,350) and is neither dangerous nor painful, according to Maschamadol.

While Maschamadol says the procedure is painless, the recovery process is not for the faint-hearted.

Images shared on the hospital’s Facebook page show patients recovering from the procedure covered in bandages soaking up blood from where the fats were removed.

Maschamadol said “all his customers” have been, at a minimum, “somewhat” satisfied by the results of the surgery.

One patient who was happy with his new abs was Thai model Ome Pangpaparn, who wrote in a review posted to Pantip after undergoing the procedure at Masterpiece.

“Fitness is not always the answer,”  Pangpaparn wrote. “I worked out regularly, but I still couldn’t get rid of the fat around my stomach.

“I do what I can. But in the parts I can’t, I leave it up to the doctor. I am confident that it will bring me more happiness.”
