Thirsty? In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper—aka dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—removes a plump, juicy lipoma stuck to a patient like glue. This clip will make you look at fresh squeezed orange juice in a whole new way.
In the Instagram post, Dr. Lee makes an incision across the length of the mass, then digs in to loosen the lipoma with her fingers. Using her fingers is better for these removals, helping the famed derm wiggle into fibrous corners and detach the growth. But Dr. Lee struggles to free the stuck lipoma, which squirts “juice” and “pulp” with each tug.
At one point, the lipoma fights back, with Dr. Lee’s grasp slipping. The derm then decides to widen the incision a little more, giving more leverage. And that’s when Dr. Lee can finally lift out the lipoma with a claw-like hand.
“Wow! That’s a stubborn bugger,” one fan commented on the video. Another fan added, “That was a juicy, fat one.”
A lipoma is a fatty noncancerous growth that grows between the skin and muscle, and is usually a yellowish-orange color.
