It has been a minute since we’ve gotten an update on Kate Middleton and Prince William’s royal babies, but this one about Prince Louis is well worth the wait.
So while Prince William is touring Kuwait and Oman, Kate Middleton is in England attending her own royal engagements, little Louis has been hitting milestones. Today, Kate went to Peterley Manor Farm to help young kids pick Christmas trees for their school, and she revealed Prince Louis is talking.
When a kid raised their hand and said “me, me!,” Kate said it reminded her of her youngest. Daily Mail reporter Rebecca English tweeted about what Kate did next, and it’s seriously so adorable. She wrote: “Kate stroked his cheek and said: ‘You remind me of my little Louis, he keeps saying: ‘Me, me, me’ and he wants to come everywhere with me.'”
Omg, reminds me of myself! Kate didn’t say if “me” was the first word Louis ever said, but I stan regardless.
Amid all the excitement, Kate, a budding arborist, also gave everyone a lesson in dendrology (the study of wooded plants, duh) and said her family prefers to get the Nordmann Fir Christmas trees because they don’t “drop the needles,” which makes cleaning up after the holidays so much easier. (Excuse me while I take notes and pretend I’m not going to wait until the last minute and pull out the sad 2-foot plastique tree I use every year!)
According to the farm’s owner Roger Brill, Kate was so great at the event that he will have to give her a job.” He added, “She was a very good saleswoman!”
